1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website (https://jahnabi.net), downloading our software, purchasing digital license keys, or using any services provided by Project JAHNABI ("we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or purchase our software products.

2. Description of Products & Services

Project JAHNABI provides digital linguistic software, conversion utilities, DTP keyboard drivers, educational ERP software, and lexicographical applications for Assamese and Bengali language professionals. Products include:

• Rupantarak Converter (MAX / Pro): High-accuracy Unicode ↔ Legacy font converter and document OCR tool.
• Jahnabi Pro Keyboard: Desktop Assamese typing suite with Dihing auto-font switching.
• Jahnabi Xobdokosh (অভিধান): Offline Assamese-English digital dictionary and morphological grammar engine.
• PrintMint Pro, SEEMS ERP, ScoreCast, & LitikAI: Visual layout tools, institutional ERP systems, and business utilities.
• Professional Support & Maintenance: Annual priority technical support and hardware license migration coverage.

3. Pricing & Payment Terms

All prices displayed on our website are denominated in Indian Rupees (INR / ₹).

• Payments are securely processed through Reserve Bank of India (RBI) authorized payment aggregators, including Cashfree Payments India Pvt. Ltd., and Google Play In-App Billing for mobile applications.
• We do not store your credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI PIN credentials. All sensitive transaction data is encrypted and handled directly by the payment gateway partners under PCI-DSS compliance.
• Prices are subject to revision at our discretion; however, changes will not affect previously confirmed and activated orders.

4. Digital Delivery & License Activation

All our software products are digital downloads. No physical shipment (such as CD/DVD/USB drives) is dispatched.

• Upon successful payment confirmation via our payment gateway, your digital license key, activation credentials, and software download links are delivered electronically to your registered email address within 5 to 15 minutes.
• If you do not receive your license email within 1 hour, please check your spam/junk folder or contact support at [email protected] with your transaction ID.

5. Software License Grant & Restrictions

Upon purchase, Project JAHNABI grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and execute the software on the licensed PC/hardware:

• Machine Binding: Standard single-user licenses are tied to the specific hardware profile of the licensed computer. License migration to another computer requires administrative reset as governed by your support plan.
• Restrictions: You shall not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, crack, modify, redistribute, rent, lease, or create derivative works based upon any Project JAHNABI software.
• Piracy & Unauthorized Use: Sharing license keys or running unauthorized cracked builds immediately voids all license rights and technical support, and may result in legal action under the Indian Copyright Act, 1957 and Information Technology Act, 2000.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

Please review our detailed Cancellation & Refund Policy. We offer a 7-Day Technical Refund Guarantee if the software fails to function on your hardware and our technical support team is unable to resolve the issue. Cancellation before license key generation is accepted within 24 hours of purchase. Approved refunds will be credited back to your original payment method within 5 to 7 business days via Cashfree Payments and banking channels.

7. Intellectual Property Rights

All software programs, algorithms, typography definitions, font converters, lexicons, database compilations, UI designs, logos, and website contents are the proprietary intellectual property of Project JAHNABI and Utpal Phukan, protected under Indian and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property laws.

8. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Project JAHNABI, its founder, or contributors be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of the use or inability to use our software, including but not limited to loss of data or business interruption. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount actually paid by you for the specific software license giving rise to the claim.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by, construed, and enforced in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any legal dispute, claim, or proceeding arising under or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Dhemaji or Guwahati, Assam, India.
